Member Levels were designed to promote active members. We reward members for being active with these levels, and to be at the very highest is considered a great honor.

New - Just joined. Starts with $100,000. Allowed to have a maximum number of ten horses (five created, five bought/bred), but no establishments. Must be active for at least two weeks before being promoted to the next level. Must enter at least one show (if available) before being promoted to the next level. Must board at a stable before being promoted to the next level.

Beginner - Has fulfilled all above qualifications. Is given another $50,000. Allowed to have a maximum number of 20 (10 created, 10 bred/bought) horses and two establishments. The establishment(s) must be active. One establishment is required. The Beginner's establishment may be a Mini-Barn. A Mini-Barn is a small stable that is "built" on the land of the stable that the member is currently boarding at. A Mini-Barn must have its own website (linked to from the main stable's home page) and individual pages and picture(s) for each horse. The member's Mini-Barn must be active and updated regularly, and may not be a boarding or private stable at this time. That opportunity comes upon advancement to an advanced stable owner. A Mini-Barn is not required, but simply suggested. Member must be active for a minimum of one month total before being promoted to the next level. Must hold a minimum of one show before being promoted to the next level. Must enter at least two shows (if available) before being promoted to the next level. If member does not have a Mini-Barn, the member must board at a stable.

Intermediate - Has fulfilled all above qualifications. Is given another $100,000. Allowed to have a maximum of 50 horses (15 created, 35 bought/bred) and three establishments. One establishment is required before being promoted to the next level. One of these establishments must be a Mini-Barn. Must be active for a mimimum of two consecutive months total before being promoted to the next level. Must hold a minimum of two shows before being promoted to the next level. Must enter at least three shows (if available) before being promoted to the next level. One establishment must have been active for at least a month.

Advanced - Has fulfilled all above requirements. Advanced members have unlimited money! Allowed to have as many horse as the Advanced member can handle (preferably less; unlimited number of created horses) and an unlimited amount of establishments. The member may now create their own stable. The stable may be listed as boarding or private. Just reaching this level is an accomplishment, but it doesn't mean that you can slack off. If you have a stable, it must be updated regularly and hold regular shows. The same goes for all of your establishments.

Promotion/Demotion

Members can be both promoted and demoted by the President, Vice-President and/or any Cabinet Member. To be promoted, the above requirements must be fulfilled. You must keep track of your level and notify the President when you are ready to move up.
Demotion is considered a horrible and dishonorable thing in HF. If a member does not fulfill his or her current level's qualifications, he or she will be demoted back down to the previous level. Members in the New Level will be given one month to become active, or they will no longer be considered a member. If the then-former member would like a second chance, he or she may feel free to send in another joining form. Demotion is very rare is HF.
